Gas streams we control
Mining and minerals processing generate a wide envelope of offgas streams:
- Acid gases — HCl, HF, SO2, NOx — acid plants, leach circuits, calciners, smelters
- Acid mists & SO3 — acid-plant tail gas, blue-plume polishing
- Heavy-metal vapour — mercury (Hg) from gold roasters, elution kilns, gold rooms
- Toxic gases — HCN from gold leach circuits, elution, gold rooms
- Sub-micron & sticky PM — condensable tars, pyrolysis fume, calciner output
- Hot abrasive dust — smelter, EAF, kiln particulate at high temperature
Each stream is matched to the right control technology — Venturi Wet Scrubber, Packed Bed, or Wet ESP — and the right materials: 3Cr12 for hot abrasive, Duplex 2205 for chloride acid, FRP for cold acid.

Our scrubber capability
Venturi Wet Scrubbers — High-energy gas/liquid contact for hot abrasive dust, mercury vapour and sub-µm particulate. Materials selected against the duty: 3Cr12 for hot/abrasive, 304/316/Duplex for corrosive, FRP for cold acid. Read more about wet scrubbers →
